Reservation Agreement

For Holiday Season reservations (November 18th-23rd and December 21st-January 4th), the full amount must be paid no later than 30 days prior to the scheduled date of arrival.

For Non-Holiday Season reservations, the full amount including the Security Deposit must be paid in full no later than 14 days prior to the scheduled date of arrival.

Checks will only be accepted if the arrival date is more than 45 days away.  If paying by check, you will be refunded by check.  Any check that is returned NSF will result in an additional charge (up to three times the amount of the check) and the reservation will be cancelled.

Smoking and Pets: All of our properties are NON-SMOKING and DRUG-FREE.  Smoking or indulging in illegal narcotics inside one of our properties will minimally result in full forfeiture of your Security Deposit and you will be required to vacate the premises without a refund.

We do have some properties that are considered Pet Friendly.  Please make sure you have selected one to suit you and your pets needs.  Bringing an unauthorized pet into a Non Pet Friendly property will result in full forfeiture of your Security Deposit.

Checking In:

Our Main Office is Located at 42000 Big Bear Blvd., Big Bear Lake, CA 92315.  (We are across the street from Citi Bank) Office hours Monday - Saturday 9am -5pm

Check-in time is no earlier than 3:00PM on your scheduled date of Arrival, 4:00PM for Holiday Season Arrivals (November 18th-23rd and December 21st-January 4th)

Whomever’s name is on the Reservation (Reservation Holder) MUST be the one to check-in; no keys or information will be handed out otherwise.  Reservation Holder will be asked to present a VALID Photo ID along with the Credit Card that was charged when making the reservation.  If the Cardholder is different from the Reservation Holder, then Cardholder must ALSO be present at Check in with the credit card and VALID Photo ID.  Please bring your COMPLETED Rental Contract as well. 

For Late Arrivals (5pm - 9am), we have an After Hours Service (All Protection Alarm) located at 41937 Big Bear Blvd; across the street from the Sheriffs Dept.  Their number is 909-866-6586; this number is for directions only.

 Cleaning: Guests are to make sure all used dishware has been washed, dried and put away and all trash has been removed from the property and taken to one of the Clean Bear Sites.  (For Rental Properties in Bear City, please use the Dumpster located at our Main Office.)  If you have used the fireplace or BBQ, please DO NOT clean out the ashes/coals.          

Checking Out:  Check-out time is no later than 11:00AM on your scheduled date of Departure ,10:00AM for Holiday Season Departures (November 18th-23rd and December 21st-January 4th), 

Keys must be dropped off at our Main Office; use the Drop Box at the main entrance to the Rental Department if you are departing outside of our business hours.  Late departures are subject to an additional nights rent.

Cancellations and Refunds:  To receive a full refund MINUS a $75.00 or 10% cancellation fee (whichever is greater) all requests must be received personally via telephone 14 days PRIOR to your date of arrival. 30 days required for any arrival that falls within the Holiday Seasons (November 18th-23rd and December 21st-January 4th), 

Cancellations received after the 14 days prior to you arrival date will forfeit their full reservation amount, unless the property is re-rented. 30 days for any arrival that falls within the Holiday Season. (November 18th-23rd and December 21st-January 4th), 

Availability:  If for ANY reason beyond the control of GetAway2BigBear the property you reserved becomes unavailable, we reserve the right to substitute a comparable property or cancel this agreement and give the Card Holder a full refund.
